Marinette de Milo

I wanted to do a Miraculous drawing since I had been drawing some Loud House and Simpsons lately. Here it is, I managed to draw Marinette once again. It has been a while since I drew Marinette as Lady Justice late last year. I had her with loose hair at the time. However, I wanted to do one better with her as the famed Venus de Milo. It's located in the Louvre in Paris, where Marinette comes from. I would know Marinette has her hair tied from the back since I didn't do her pigtails like she has. For the background, I chose do the colors of this year's Belmont Stakes 3rd place finisher Patch. A lot of people fell in love with Patch before the Kentucky Derby because he has one eye. Patch had an ulcer in his left eye that required it to be removed with surgery. Most horses would suffer worse injuries after the surgery or worse, but not with Patch. He managed to race on that included a 2nd place finish in the Louisiana Derby. Although Patch wasn't one of the betting favorites for the Kentucky Derby, it didn't matter to him. Patch broke okay after the gate opened. He had close range towards the leaders throughout the race and had good ground to save. Unfortunately, Patch got bumped before the stretch and faded to finished 14th. Patch came back for the Belmont after skipping the Preakness. Unlike the Derby, Patch didn't worry about a big field as he broke well. He had a great chance to be close to the leaders like in the Derby. Patch did quite well to finish 3rd behind his stablemate Tapwrit. As for the drawing, I wanted to have classiness with Marinette as the Venus de Milo since it's armless and seminude. However, I had to stop at Marinette's upper head area because she's underage. I do know the Venus de Milo is seminude, but I had to respect Marinette's body. I would hope Miraculous fans can understand what I was saying. For the background, I think that I had the exact colors and design on Patch's silks. I wonder how Marinette can react to her statue of herself as the Venus de Milo as Adrien and the rest of the classmates gaze upon on it.
